The station tablet already recovers its view when the network comes back, but a ticket bumped while offline is lost. We are adding a durable queue for those actions, device health signalling, and automatic reconciliation so a service can run through an outage and catch up afterwards.
Ordering is dine-in first today. We are extending it to orders placed for collection, including how those tickets are routed to stations and timed against the tables already seated.
Running out currently has to be set from the dashboard. It should be one tap on the station display, alongside all-day counters showing how many of each dish have left the pass.
