Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor generally willing to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle). Note: the EU's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was permanently shut down on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
Consumer information
Where you order food through a menu published on Mealar, the restaurant — not Mealar — is the seller and your contract partner. Prices shown on menus and at checkout are the final consumer prices and include all applicable VAT/taxes; any container deposit is shown as a separate line before you confirm. Because prepared food is perishable and made to order, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it under EU consumer law.
